The Military Operations Administration has prohibited affiliated factions and civilians from firing weapons in the coastal region of Syria and seizing any property, equipment, or weapons.

In a statement today, Wednesday, December 11, the Military Operations Administration urged all military formations and civilians in the coastal region of Syria to cease gunfire and not to seize any equipment, weapons, or public vehicles belonging to anyone.

The Military Operations Administration warned residents in the region against approaching or entering public institutions and military barracks, under the threat of accountability and punishment.

The Military Operations Administration was able, between November 27 and December 8, to reach Damascus and overthrow Bashar al-Assad’s regime during its military operation “Deterrence of Aggression.”

The “Deterrence of Aggression” operation began on November 27 in the western Aleppo countryside and continued to advance to the city of Aleppo, then to Hama and Homs, reaching Damascus in the early hours of December 8, announcing the fall of the Syrian regime.

Since the launch of operations, the Military Operations Administration has issued many statements and instructions regarding both service and administrative affairs in the areas it controls.

It prohibited firing shots into the air due to the fear it causes among residents and the danger it poses to civilian lives.

It also prohibited any harm to public institutions and their properties, stating, “They are the property of the people, and it is our duty to protect and develop them,” and forbade entering any house, residence, or property regardless of ownership or infringing on any private properties.

Anyone who violates the directives will be subject to accountability and punishment, according to the statement.

In another statement, the Military Operations Administration affirmed that all government institutions, international organizations, and UN offices operating in Syria serve the people, and we have a duty to protect and maintain them and ensure the continuity of their work.

It emphasized its commitment to ensuring the safety of institutions and preventing any violations that may harm their work or hinder their developmental and service objectives in Aleppo, Hama, Homs, southern Syria, and other Syrian cities.

The Military Operations Administration also issued a general amnesty for all military personnel subjected to compulsory service, ensuring their safety and prohibiting any infringement on them.

In recent days, media personnel close to the previous regime have been promoting decisions and statements they claimed were issued by the General Command and Military Operations Administration; however, these statements are false.
