The Military Operations Administration of opposition factions participating in the “Deterrence of Aggression” operation issued a call for members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to leave with their weapons to northeastern Syria.

In a statement today, Sunday, December 1, the Military Operations Administration said, “We are fighting the criminal Assad regime and pushing Iranian militias away from our cities and villages, which ensures the safety of our people and their safe return.”

The statement continued, “We offer you the chance to exit the city of Aleppo with your weapons towards northeastern Syria safely.”

The Military Operations Administration also confirmed that the Kurds of Syria are an integral part of the Syrian community and have all the shared rights with the other citizens of this country.

“We assure our Kurdish people in Sheikh Maqsoud and other towns in the city of Aleppo that you are our kin, and you have what we have and are obligated to what we are obligated. We are responsible for your protection and ensuring a dignified life for you.”

In a separate statement, the Military Operations Administration called on military officers affiliated with the regime’s armed forces and commanders of divisions and brigades in all Syrian cities to defect, expressing its readiness to secure the defection of any officer wishing to lay down arms and safely move to opposition-held areas in northern Syria.

The statement said, “Officers, you have seen and witnessed how your army collapsed in the Deterrence of Aggression battle, and the wise learns from others before it is too late.”

Continuous advancement

Opposition factions continued their advance today, Sunday, in northern Syria, taking control of the town of Khanasir and the Khanasir-Aleppo highway, as well as the field artillery college and the military academy in the city of Aleppo. They also took control of al-Safira, al-Adnaniyah, and Mount Izan and Khanasir, southeast of Aleppo.

Additionally, factions continued their advance north of Hama, controlling the villages of Ma’an, al-Kabariyah, and Kawkab, and Mount Shahshabu, while Shaheen Brigades (drone strikes) targeted regime forces’ gatherings in northern Hama.

Today, Sunday, Colonel Hassan Abdul Ghani from the Military Operations Administration announced the completion of the liberation of the entire countryside of Idlib.

In northern Hama, opposition factions made progress in the villages of al-Talissiya, al-Shatha, al-Fan al-Gharbi, al-Rai Hill, and Taybat al-Asm.

Since dawn on Wednesday, November 27, the opposition factions announced the launch of a military operation named “Deterrence of Aggression” in response to the repeated shelling of regime forces on northwestern Syria, aiming to expand “safe areas” in preparation for the return of the displaced and refugees.

Participating in the operation are factions belonging to the al-Fath al-Mubin operations room, including Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the National Liberation Front, and the Army of Glory. Factions from the Syrian National Army (SNA) also participated, notably Shamiya Front, Joint Forces, and Nur ad-Din al-Zenki Movement.
