This town welcomes its visitors with springs and lakes, surrounded by eucalyptus trees, from which water flows through streams to create Zizoun waterfalls flowing down the valley slopes – 23 April (Enab Baladi)
Fresh spring water provides the village with drinking water, while farmers benefit from its surplus to irrigate their lands – 23 April (Enab Baladi)
However, the random drilling of wells and misuse of lake water, affected negatively the water flow towards these waterfalls and resulted into the loss of the aesthetic aspect of the region in summer season – 23 April (Enab Baladi)
